To my knowledge, Mailbox Folder Permission(based on folder level and can be configured both on Outlook and Exchange side) is different from Mailbox Permission(based on mailbox level and can only be configured on Exchange side).

The user has no permissions set besides the ones that we set in the Exchange Control Panel (Full Access) and besides what I can see in Powershell. This is what we want, but for some reason it doesnt seem to do what i thought it would. But when I check the users mailbox with Get-Mailboxfolderpermission I can see that the users with Full Access permissions actually only have set. Now this seems strange enough, maybe I missunderstood what Full Access actually grants. At the same time, when accessing via OWA from my own mailbox - just adding the users calendar while having full access - I CAN see the details of her appointments. So, we have a user in Exchange Online, that user has a mailbox and calendar.įor some reason, when given Full Access, for private appointments, others cannot see the details - which I would expect to be the correct setting - in the locally installed Outlook.
